Mayer Body Corporation 1917-1966 – 204 Auburn St.,
Pittsburgh, PA – milk truck body on 1934 Dodge chassis. The University of
Pittsburgh Library has an extensive (3,469
prints and negatives) collection of photographs from the Mayer Body
Corporation in its Archives. In 1934 Mayer Body built a squad car for the
North Braddock, PA, Vol. Fire Dept on a sixteen cylinder Marmon that was
finished in purple.
