Converto Mfg. Co. - 1939-present - Cambridge City, Indiana

Converto is a small manufacturing company located in Cambridge City, Indiana.  We have been in business since 1939.  We manufacture material handling equipment that is used in the scrap, recycling and waste removal and disposal industries.  If you have ever driven you probably have seen one of our products out on the highways.

Specialized in heavy-duty dump, semi-trailer dump, and platform dump bodies. Their pickup and light truck line of dump bodies were called "PicUPac"

Still in business today, they specialize in heavy duty roll-off bodies, roll-off trailers and horizontal discharge trailers and containers.

Converto is privately owned by Mr. Clarence France of Indiana.  Gene Hammond is our Sales Manager.  David Shank is our Engineering Manager.  Paul Lamont is our Purchasing Agent.  Donald Hancock is our Production Head.  If you have ever called us you have no doubt talked to Lois Haynes (sales secretary) or Brenda Chandler (executive secretary).  The Web Author is also the President of the Company, and that is me, Jeffrey France.
